For drilling in wood or metal with standard round or hex shank drill bits, use the included 13mm keyed chuck.

  1. Ensure the hammer drill is in 'Drill' mode (no hammer action).
  2. Insert the SDS Plus shaft of the 13mm keyed chuck into the SDS Plus chuck of the hammer drill as described in section 5.2.
  3. Open the jaws of the 13mm chuck using the chuck key.
  4. Insert your standard drill bit and tighten the chuck jaws securely with the chuck key.
