The Altec Lansing M650 Speaker System is designed to enhance your audio and video experience with compatible Apple devices. This manual provides instructions for the proper setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your M650 speaker system.

3.4. Connecting to a Television (Video Out)
To display video from your docked iPhone or iPod touch on a TV:
- Connect a compatible video cable (not included) from the Video Out port on the M650 to the video input port on your television.
- Select the appropriate video input source on your television.
3.5. Connecting External Audio Devices (Auxiliary Input)
To play audio from other devices:
- Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from the headphone jack or audio output of your external device to the AUX IN port on the M650.
- Switch the M650's input source to AUX (if applicable, usually done via remote or unit controls).

Press the Power button on the unit or the remote control to turn the system on or off.
4.2. Audio Playback from Docked Device
Once your device is docked, audio will typically play automatically when media is selected on your device. Use the remote control or your device's controls to manage playback.

A free, downloadable "Music Mood" app (availability may vary) can be used with your iPhone or iPod. This app provides a seven-band equalizer for fine-tuning audio and an ambient library of relaxing visuals and sounds.

When a compatible device is docked and connected to a TV via the Video Out port, video content played on your device will be displayed on the television.
