THB Industrial Grade Lubricator Oiler (Model L9000)

Instruction Manual for 3/4" NPT, 11oz Model

1. Ifihan

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your THB Industrial Grade Lubricator Oiler. This device is designed to inject a fine oil mist into compressed air lines, ensuring continuous lubrication for pneumatic air tools. Proper lubrication extends the service life and maintains optimal performance of valves, cylinders, and air motors.

Awọn ẹya pataki:

  • Industrial grade heavy-duty construction.
  • Metal bowl with 11 fluid ounces capacity.
  • Visible sight glass for easy oil level monitoring.
  • Adjustable oil flow control.
  • Includes wall mounting bracket for installation.

2. Alaye Aabo

IKILO:

  • Depressurize the unit completely before servicing the bowl or any other component.
  • Avoid contact with organic solvents, acids, cutting oils, alkaline substances, or lightening agents. These chemicals can damage the bowl.
  • Dabobo ẹrọ naa lati orun taara.
  • Clean the bowl only with soap and a neutral detergent.
  • Do not use forbidden oils or lubricants not specified for pneumatic tools.

3. Eto ati fifi sori

Follow these steps for proper installation of your lubricator:

  1. Depressurize Air Line: Ensure the compressed air line where the lubricator will be installed is completely depressurized and isolated from the air supply.
  2. Iṣagbesori: Use the included wall mounting bracket to securely attach the lubricator to a stable surface. Ensure the unit is mounted vertically with the sight glass facing forward for easy viewing.
  3. Connect Air Lines: Connect the lubricator into the compressed air line. The lubricator features 3/4" NPT ports. Note that 3/4" NPT measures approximately 1.05" outside thread diameter. Use appropriate thread sealant (e.g., PTFE tape) on all threaded connections to prevent leaks. Ensure the air flow direction matches the arrow indicated on the lubricator body.
  4. Fill with Lubricant: Unscrew the fill bolt located on the top of the lubricator. Carefully pour the recommended pneumatic air tool lubricant (ISO-VG32) into the bowl. Fill to the 'MAX OIL LEVEL' mark visible on the sight glass. Do not overfill. Replace and tighten the fill bolt.

4. Awọn ilana Iṣiṣẹ

Once installed and filled, the lubricator is ready for operation:

  1. Pressurize System: Slowly re-pressurize the compressed air system. Check all connections for leaks.
  2. Adjust Oil Flow: The amount of oil injected into the air stream can be controlled by adjusting the adjustment screw on the top of the lubricator. Turn the screw clockwise to decrease oil flow and counter-clockwise to increase it. Start with a minimal setting and adjust as needed for your pneumatic tools. Observe the oil drip rate through the sight glass.
  3. Monitor Oil Level: Regularly check the oil level through the visible sight glass. Ensure the oil level remains between the 'MIN OIL LEVEL' and 'MAX OIL LEVEL' marks.

5. Itọju

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and proper function of your lubricator:

  • Refilling Oil: When the oil level approaches the 'MIN OIL LEVEL' mark, depressurize the air line completely before refilling. Unscrew the fill bolt and add ISO-VG32 pneumatic air tool lubricant up to the 'MAX OIL LEVEL' mark.
  • Ninu: Periodically, the bowl may need cleaning. Depressurize the unit, remove the bowl, and clean it with mild soap and neutral detergent. Rinse thoroughly with water and ensure it is completely dry before reassembling. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents as they can damage the bowl material.
  • Ayewo: Regularly inspect the lubricator for any signs of damage, leaks, or wear. Ensure all connections are tight.

6. Laasigbotitusita

If you encounter issues with your lubricator, refer to the following:

  • No Oil Flow:
    • Check oil level; refill if low.
    • Ensure the adjustment screw is not fully closed (clockwise). Adjust counter-clockwise to increase flow.
    • Verify air pressure is within the operating range.
    • Inspect for blockages in the oil feed mechanism (requires depressurizing and disassembly).
  • Excessive Oil Flow:
    • Adjust the oil flow screw clockwise to reduce the flow.
  • Afẹfẹ jo:
    • Check all threaded connections for proper sealing and tightness. Apply more thread sealant if necessary.
    • Inspect the bowl and seals for cracks or damage. Replace damaged components if found.
