Understanding Outlet Behavior

The Trickle Star Motion Sensor PowerStrip is designed to intelligently manage power to connected devices.

  • Ibi iṣakoso: This outlet is always active when the power strip is on. It monitors the power consumption of the device plugged into it.
  • Awọn iÿë ti a yipada: These outlets receive power when the device in the Control Outlet is active (e.g., a TV is turned on, a computer is running) ati motion is detected by the connected sensor. If the control device is off or in standby, and no motion is detected for a set period, the switched outlets will power down to save energy.
  • Always On Outlet: This outlet provides continuous power to devices, regardless of the control outlet's status or motion detection, as long as the main power switch is ON.

LED Ifi

  • Surge Status LED (Green): When illuminated, this LED indicates that the surge protection feature of the power strip is active and functioning correctly. If this light is off, the surge protection may have been compromised, and the power strip should be replaced.
  • Switched Outlets LED: This LED indicates the power status of the switched outlets. It will illuminate when the switched outlets are receiving power and turn off when they are not.

Circuit fifọ

The 2-in-1 power ON/OFF rocket switch also functions as a 15 amp resettable circuit breaker. In the event of an overload, the switch may trip to the "OFF" position to protect connected devices and the power strip itself. To reset, simply switch it back to the "ON" position after reducing the load.
