- Press the "Brew Now" button to start the brewing cycle.
- The Grab-A-Cup Auto Pause feature allows you to temporarily remove the carafe for a quick pour during brewing. Replace the carafe within 30 seconds to prevent overflow.
Setting the Delay Brew:
- Prepare the coffee maker for brewing as described above (water, filter, coffee grounds).
- Press the "Set Delay" button. The display will flash.
- Use the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons to set your desired brew time.
- Press the "Delay Brew" button to activate the timer. The indicator light will illuminate.

Mineral deposits from water can affect the performance and taste of your coffee. The coffee maker features a "Clean" cycle to facilitate descaling.
- Empty the water reservoir and remove the filter basket.
- Fill the water reservoir with 4 cups of undiluted white vinegar.
- Place the empty thermal carafe with its lid on the warming plate.
- Press the "Clean" button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the cycle to complete (approximately 45-60 minutes). The coffee maker will automatically shut off.
- After the cycle, discard the vinegar solution.
- Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and run two full brewing cycles with water only to rinse thoroughly.
