4.2 Replacing Fuel Lines
If your existing fuel lines are cracked, brittle, or leaking, they should also be replaced.
- Identify Lines: Trace the fuel lines from the primer bulb/carburetor to the fuel tank. Note their routing and connections.
- Remove Old Lines: Carefully disconnect the old fuel lines from all connection points (primer bulb, carburetor, fuel filter in tank).
- Cut New Lines: Using the old lines as a guide, cut the new HURI fuel line tubing to the appropriate lengths. Ensure clean, straight cuts.
- Install New Lines: Route the new fuel lines in the same manner as the old ones. Connect them securely to the primer bulb, carburetor, and fuel filter. Ensure all connections are snug to prevent leaks.
