Thank you for choosing the PDP Afterglow Wireless Controller. This controller is designed to enhance your gaming experience on the PlayStation 3 and is also compatible with Windows 7 and up on PC. It features a distinctive clear polycarbonate housing with signature Afterglow blue lighting, custom-engineered SmartTrack technology for precise analog stick control, and upgraded L1/R1 and L2/R2 buttons with swappable functions. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your controller.

- Connect USB Wireless Receiver:

- Fun PC: Plug the USB wireless receiver dongle into an available USB port on your PC. Ensure your PC is running Windows 7 or a newer version.

Once the USB receiver is connected, turn on your controller. The controller should automatically pair with the receiver. The blue LED lights on the controller will indicate a successful connection. If the controller does not connect automatically, ensure the receiver is properly inserted and the controller has fresh batteries. You may need to briefly remove and re-insert the USB receiver.

Afterglow Button Functionality
The Afterglow button, located on the back of the controller, allows you to swap the functions of the L1/R1 and L2/R2 buttons. To activate this feature, press and hold the Afterglow button. This can be useful for customizing your control scheme based on game preferences.

The signature blue LED lighting can be toggled on or off. To control the lighting, locate the dedicated button on the back of the controller. Pressing this button will cycle the LED lights between on and off states.
Isakoso agbara
To conserve battery life, the controller is designed to automatically shut down after approximately 2 minutes of inactivity. To reactivate the controller, press any button. The controller cannot be used to power on the PlayStation 3 console; the console must be turned on manually.

This controller is specifically designed for PlayStation 3 games and PC games (Windows 7 and up). It is not compatible with PlayStation 2 games, even if played on a backwards-compatible PlayStation 3 console.

- Controller does not power on:
- Ensure fresh AA batteries are correctly installed with proper polarity. Check the battery compartment for any obstructions.
- Controller does not connect or pair:
- Verify the USB wireless receiver dongle is securely plugged into an active USB port on your console or PC.
- Try unplugging and re-plugging the USB receiver.
- Ensure the controller has fresh batteries.
- Move the controller closer to the USB receiver to rule out range issues.
- Buttons or analog sticks are unresponsive or sticking:
- Ensure the controller is clean and free from debris around the buttons and sticks. Avoid excessive force during use. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- LED lights are not illuminating:
- Check if the LED lighting feature has been toggled off using the dedicated button on the back of the controller. Ensure batteries are not depleted.
- Controller does not turn on the PlayStation 3 console:
- This is expected behavior. The PlayStation 3 console must be powered on manually.
- Controller does not work with PlayStation 2 games:
- This controller is not designed for PlayStation 2 games. It is compatible with PlayStation 3 and PC (Windows 7 and up) titles only.
