  4. Hold the lancing device firmly against the side of your fingertip and press the release button.
  5. Gently squeeze your finger to obtain a small drop of blood.
  6. Touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The blood will be drawn into the strip.
  7. The meter will display your blood glucose result in approximately 5 seconds.
  8. Remove the used test strip and dispose of it properly.
