This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Firman P01202 portable generator. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the generator to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.

The Firman P01202 is a compact and efficient gas-powered generator designed to provide reliable power for various applications, featuring:

  • 1500 starting Watts and 1200 running watts.
  • Max Pro Series 80cc FIRMAN OHV engine.
  • Quiet Whisper Series muffler, operating at 63 decibels.
  • 1.7 gallon fuel tank providing up to 12 hours of run time.
  • FIRMAN Volt Lock automatic voltage regulator for stable power output.
  • Low Oil Shutoff Switch for engine protection.

2. Alaye Aabo

WARNING: Generators produce carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. Operating a generator indoors can kill you in minutes. ALWAYS operate generators OUTDOORS, far away from windows, doors, and vents.

  • Ewu Erogba monoxide: Never operate the generator inside any building, garage, shed, or other enclosed space. Ensure adequate ventilation when operating outdoors.
  • Ewu Itanna: Do not operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure the generator is properly grounded. Do not touch live electrical parts.
  • Ewu ina: Fuel is highly flammable. Do not refuel while the engine is running or hot. Store fuel in an approved container in a well-ventilated area. Keep flammable materials away from the generator.

4. Eto

Before first use, perform the following setup steps:

4.1 Unpacking ati ayewo

  • Remove the generator and all accessories from the carton.
  • Inspect for any shipping damage. If damaged, contact Firman customer service.
  • Ensure all included accessories are present: oil, funnel, owner's manual, spark plug wrench, and two wrenches.

4.2 Fifi Engine Oil

The engine is shipped without oil. You must add the correct amount of engine oil before starting.

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of your generator.

6.1 Engine Oil Change

Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours of operation, then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Use SAE 10W-30 oil.

6.2 Air Filter Cleaning

Inspect the air filter every 50 hours or more frequently in dusty conditions. Clean or replace as necessary.

Inspect the spark plug every 100 hours. Clean or replace if fouled or worn. Ensure proper gap.
