3. Waterproof Features
The Kindle Paperwhite is waterproof (IPX8 rated), designed to withstand accidental immersion in 2 meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes. This allows for reading by the pool, at the beach, or in the bath.

4. Audible Integration
Your Kindle Paperwhite supports Audible audiobooks. Pair Bluetooth headphones or speakers with your device to listen to audio content. Note that Audible audiobook streaming over Bluetooth will reduce battery life.

The device comes with 8 GB of on-device storage, capable of holding thousands of books. Free cloud storage is provided for all Amazon content. Content formats supported include Kindle Format 8 (AZW3), Kindle (AZW), TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, PRC natively; HTML DOC, DOCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PMP through conversion; and Audible audio format (AAX).
