Thank you for choosing the TRONIC 3-in-1 Detector, Model SMV9809. This device is designed to detect wood, metal, and live electrical voltage behind walls, ceilings, and floors. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure safe and effective operation. Keep this manual for future reference.

3.1 irinše
- Ifihan LCD: Shows detection mode, signal strength, and battery status.

The TRONIC SMV9809 requires a 9V battery (not included).

- Hold the device flat against the surface. Do not tilt or lift it during scanning.
- Move the device slowly and steadily across the surface.

5.2 Wood Detection Mode
This mode is used to locate wood studs behind drywall or other common wall materials.

- Place the device flat against the wall where you want to start scanning.

5.3 Metal Detection Mode
This mode detects ferrous and non-ferrous metals, such as pipes, rebar, or conduit.

- Place the device flat against the wall.

5.4 AC Voltage Detection Mode
CAUTION: This mode detects live, unshielded AC wires. Always confirm power is off before working.
