This means that to tighten the connections, you will turn them to the left (counter-clockwise), and to loosen, you will turn them to the right (clockwise). Apply a soapy water solution (half liquid dish soap, half water) to all connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the tank valve immediately, re-tighten the connection, and re-test. Do not proceed until all leaks are eliminated.

Operating Your Propane Hose

Once the hose is securely connected and leak-tested, you can begin operation of your propane appliance.

• Ensure the area is clear of flammable materials.
• Slowly open the propane tank valve fully.
• Follow the operating instructions for your specific propane torch or appliance.
• Never leave an operating propane appliance unattended.
• When finished, always close the propane tank valve first, then allow any remaining gas in the hose to burn off before closing the appliance valve.
