Always adhere to local and national safety regulations when using this instrument. Failure to do so may result in injury or damage to the device. Before each use, inspect the tester and test leads for any damage. Do not use the device if it appears damaged or is not operating correctly. Ensure proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn during testing. Disconnect power to circuits before performing resistance or insulation tests.

Idanwo Resistance idabobo

For insulation resistance, select the INSULATION function. Connect the test leads to the circuit under test. Press the TEST button to initiate the measurement. The device offers various voltage and resistance selection options for customized settings.

Earth Resistance Test

To perform an earth resistance test, select the RE (Earth Resistance) function. Connect the test leads and auxiliary earth spikes as per the diagram in the manual. Press the TEST button. The device will display the earth resistance value.

Loop Impedance Test

Select the LOOP function for loop impedance measurements. Connect the test leads to the live and earth terminals of the circuit. Press the TEST button. The device performs a fast high current loop test and displays the impedance.

RCD Test (Residual Current Device)

Select the RCD function. The DT-6650 supports variable RCD current modes for customized settings and provides PASS/FAIL indications. Connect the test leads to the RCD protected circuit and initiate the test. The device will measure the trip time and current.
