Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. Ensure all components, including the emergency keys and instruction manual, are present.

Locate the battery compartment inside the safe door. Insert 4 new 1.5V AA Alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery cover securely.

Alternatively, the safe can be powered using a USB-C cable (not included) connected to the external power port on the keypad, especially useful if batteries are depleted or forgotten.
3. Ṣíṣeto Kóòdù Ti ara ẹni Rẹ
With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. The keypad will beep, and the green light will illuminate. Enter your desired 3 to 8 digit code, then press the '#' or 'E' button to confirm. Test your new code with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

Enter your personal 3 to 8 digit code on the digital keypad. If the code is correct, the green light will illuminate. Turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

In case of forgotten password or dead batteries, the safe can be opened using the emergency key. Remove the cover plate on the keypad to reveal the keyhole. Insert the emergency key and turn it counter-clockwise while simultaneously turning the knob clockwise to open the safe.

To reset the password, open the safe door. Press the red reset button inside the door. Enter your new 3-8 digit code and confirm with '#' or 'E'.

When the batteries are low, the yellow light on the keypad will illuminate, indicating that the batteries need to be replaced soon. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

The AEGIS safe features two pre-drilled holes on both the bottom and back for secure mounting to a wall or floor. This enhances security by preventing unauthorized removal of the safe.
Steps for Mounting:
- Choose a suitable location for mounting, ensuring it is a solid surface (e.g., concrete wall, wooden stud, or sturdy floor).
