For initial use or after the watch has stopped due to lack of movement, manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times while it is in the normal operating position (not pulled out). This builds up the initial power reserve. The watch will then continue to wind itself through the motion of your wrist during wear.
