7.1 Infrared (Non-Contact) Temperature Measurement

This mode measures the surface temperature of an object without physical contact.

  1. Point the infrared sensor towards the target surface.
  2. Tẹ mọlẹ Nfa. The laser pointer will activate (if enabled) to indicate the measurement area.
  3. The surface temperature will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Tu silẹ Nfa to hold the reading.

7.2 Type-K Thermocouple (Contact) Temperature Measurement

For accurate contact temperature measurements, use the included Type-K thermocouple probe.

  1. Insert the Type-K thermocouple probe into the dedicated socket on the side of the thermometer.
  2. Tẹ awọn Ipo button until the Type-K measurement mode is indicated on the display (often with a 'K' symbol).
  3. Place the tip of the thermocouple probe in direct contact with the surface or substance to be measured.
  4. The temperature reading from the thermocouple will be displayed.

7.4 Mould Risk Detection

The thermometer provides a visual indication of mould risk based on the dew point.

  • A tricolor LED light (green, yellow, red) indicates the proximity to the dew point.
  • Alawọ ewe: Low risk, conditions are fine.
  • Yellow: Near critical dew point, increased risk of mould growth.
  • Pupa: High risk, conditions are conducive to mould growth.

8. Àtúnṣe Ìtújáde Ìtújáde

Emissivity (ε) is a measure of an object's ability to emit infrared energy. Different materials have different emissivity values. For accurate infrared temperature measurements, it is important to set the emissivity value on the thermometer to match the target material.

  • The WT323C allows adjustment of emissivity from 0.1 to 1.0.
  • To adjust emissivity, press the Ipo button until the emissivity setting (ε) is displayed.
  • Use the up/down arrow buttons (often integrated with °C/°F or Laser/UV buttons in mode settings) to change the value.
  • Refer to a standard emissivity table for common materials if precise values are needed.
