4.1 Connecting the VGB350

Follow these steps to connect your August VGB350:

Connect the USB end of the VGB350 to an available USB 2.0 port on your computer (PC or laptop).
Identify the output ports on your analog video source (e.g., VCR, camcorder, DVD player). These are typically Composite AV (yellow for video, red for right audio, white for left audio) or S-Video.
Connect the corresponding cables from your analog source to the input ports on the VGB350. The VGB350 has a yellow RCA input for video, red and white RCA inputs for audio (right and left), and a black S-Video input.
If your source device uses a SCART output, use the provided SCART adapter to convert it to RCA or S-Video, then connect to the VGB350.

4.2 Software fifi sori

Important Pre-installation Steps:

Disable Antivirus Software: Temporarily disable Windows Defender, Avast, Norton, or any other antivirus software before installation, as they may interfere with the process.
Uninstall Conflicting Software: Remove any other video capture software from your computer to prevent conflicts with Honestech.
Camera and Microphone Access: Ensure your computer's camera and microphone access is enabled for this device in your system settings.
Disable Core Isolation (Windows 10/11): Core Isolation with Memory Integrity, often enabled by default on Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 11 Pro, can prevent successful installation. Ensure this setting is disabled. To do this:
- Go to Start Menu > Settings (gear icon).
- Select Update & Security (Windows 10) or Privacy & Security (Windows 11) > Windows Security.
- Click on Device Security > Core isolation details.
- Toggle the 'Memory integrity' switch to the 'Off' position.
