Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. This appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes. Do not use without the clear bin and filters in place. Unplug from the charger when not in use for extended periods.

Your Dyson V10 has three power modes for different cleaning tasks:

  • Ipo 1 (Kekere): For lighter cleaning and longer run time (up to 60 minutes).

Empty the clear bin as soon as the dirt reaches the MAX mark. To empty, hold the appliance over a bin, push the red lever down firmly, and the bin will open, releasing the dirt. Close the bin base firmly until it clicks.

Wash the filter at least once a month, or more frequently if used heavily. To remove, twist the filter counter-clockwise from the top of the main body. Wash under cold tap water until the water runs clear. Squeeze and tap to remove excess water. Leave to dry completely for at least 24 hours in a warm, dry place before refitting. Do not use a washing machine, tumble dryer, or microwave.

Cleaning Brush Bar

If the brush bar becomes blocked, it may stop rotating. Turn off the appliance and remove the cleaner head. Use a coin to unlock the end cap, then slide the brush bar out. Remove any hair or debris wrapped around the brush bar. Slide the brush bar back in and secure the end cap.
