  2. Alternatively, connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the main unit and plug it into a power outlet. The backlight will remain on when powered by the adapter.

2. Setting Up the Wireless Outdoor Sensor

  1. Open the battery cover on the back of the outdoor sensor.
  2. Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing polarity.
  3. Select a channel (1, 2, or 3) using the small switch inside the battery compartment. This allows for multiple sensors if purchased separately.

3. Pairing and Synchronization

Ensure both the main unit and the outdoor sensor are powered on within 3 minutes. The main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor signal. A signal strength indicator will appear on the display once connected.
