H-H Pickups & Coil-Splitting Functionality

The DJP-1000 is equipped with two closed Humbucker (H-H) pickups, each featuring a coil-splitting function. This allows for a total of eight distinct tonal combinations, providing exceptional versatility.

  • Humbucker Mode (Coil Split OFF): When the coil-splitting function is disengaged (push the tone knob down), the pickups operate as full humbuckers, producing a thick, rich sound with reduced noise.
  • Single Coil Mode (Coil Split ON): Pulling up on the respective tone knob activates the coil-splitting function for that pickup. This effectively turns the humbucker into a single-coil pickup, offering brighter, more articulate tones similar to a traditional single-coil guitar.

Experiment with different combinations of the pickup selector switch and coil-splitting on both neck and bridge pickups to discover a wide array of sounds, from mellow jazz to crunchy rock.

  • Ninu: Regularly wipe down the guitar body, neck, and strings with a soft, lint-free cloth after each use. For a deeper clean, use guitar-specific cleaning products. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
  • Rirọpo okun: Strings should be replaced periodically, depending on usage, to maintain optimal tone and playability. Replace strings one at a time to maintain neck tension.
  • Abojuto Fretboard: For rosewood fretboards, apply a small amount of lemon oil or a specialized fretboard conditioner every few months to prevent drying and cracking.
  • Awọn ipo Ayika: Store your guitar in a stable environment, away from extreme temperature changes, direct sunlight, and high humidity. A guitar case or gig bag provides additional protection.
  • Atunse Ọpa Truss: The included Allen wrench is for adjusting the truss rod, which controls the neck relief. This adjustment should only be performed by experienced individuals or a qualified guitar technician to avoid damage to the neck.
