The Alonefire SV57 UV Blacklight is versatile and can be used for various detection and inspection tasks:

  • Ṣiṣawari ito ọsin: Illuminate dark areas to reveal hidden pet stains on carpets, furniture, or floors.
  • Currency and Document Verification: Check security features on banknotes, passports, and other official documents that fluoresce under UV light.
  • Mineral and Gemstone Inspection: Observe the fluorescence of certain minerals and gemstones for identification or appraisal.
  • Ayewo Yara Hotẹẹli: Identify unsanitary spots or hidden stains in hotel rooms.
  • Ṣiṣawari Scorpion: Scorpions are known to fluoresce under UV light, making them easier to spot in dark environments.
  • Cat Fungus (Ringworm) Detection: Certain types of fungal infections in cats (like Microsporum canis) may fluoresce under a Wood's lamp (UV light). Consult a veterinarian for diagnosis.
  • Anisakis Detection in Fish: While some sources suggest UV light for detecting Anisakis larvae in fish, it is not a definitive method. Always cook fish thoroughly to eliminate parasites.

Black Filter Lens Technology

The SV57 is equipped with a specialized black filter optical lens. This lens is designed to block most visible light, allowing only the pure 365nm UV light to pass through. This results in a clearer and more effective fluorescence, enhancing the visibility of UV-reactive materials.

365nm vs. 395nm UV Light

The 365nm wavelength is considered optimal for many UV detection tasks as it produces a purer UV light with less visible purple glow compared to 395nm UV lights. This allows for clearer observation of fluorescent reactions without interference from the light itself.
