  1. Carefully remove the SocketScan S720 scanner and its accessories from the packaging.
  2. Connect the charging cable to the charging dock and then to a power source.
  3. Place the scanner into the charging dock. The LED indicator on the scanner will show charging status. Allow the scanner to fully charge before first use (approximately 4-6 hours).

2. Pairing with a Host Device (Bluetooth)

The SocketScan S720 uses Bluetooth for wireless communication. Follow these steps to pair it with your smartphone, tablet, or computer:

  1. Agbara Tan: Press and hold the small power button on the scanner until it powers on.
  2. Tẹ Ipo Sisopọ: Scan the appropriate Bluetooth pairing barcode from the Quick Start Guide or the Socket Mobile website. This will put the scanner into discoverable mode. The Bluetooth LED will flash rapidly.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on Host Device: On your host device (e.g., smartphone), go to the Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
  4. Select Scanner: Wa fun available devices. The SocketScan S720 should appear as "Socket S720 [XXXXXX]" (where XXXXXX is the last 6 digits of the Bluetooth address). Select it to pair.

  1. Ensure the scanner is powered on and successfully paired with your host device.
