- Carefully remove the SocketScan S720 scanner and its accessories from the packaging.
- Connect the charging cable to the charging dock and then to a power source.
- Place the scanner into the charging dock. The LED indicator on the scanner will show charging status. Allow the scanner to fully charge before first use (approximately 4-6 hours).
2. Pairing with a Host Device (Bluetooth)
The SocketScan S720 uses Bluetooth for wireless communication. Follow these steps to pair it with your smartphone, tablet, or computer:
- Agbara Tan: Press and hold the small power button on the scanner until it powers on.
- Tẹ Ipo Sisopọ: Scan the appropriate Bluetooth pairing barcode from the Quick Start Guide or the Socket Mobile website. This will put the scanner into discoverable mode. The Bluetooth LED will flash rapidly.
- Enable Bluetooth on Host Device: On your host device (e.g., smartphone), go to the Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Select Scanner: Wa fun available devices. The SocketScan S720 should appear as "Socket S720 [XXXXXX]" (where XXXXXX is the last 6 digits of the Bluetooth address). Select it to pair.
- Jẹrisi Isopọpọ: Once paired, the Bluetooth LED on the scanner will turn solid blue, indicating a successful connection.

1. Antivirus Barcodes
- Ensure the scanner is powered on and successfully paired with your host device.
