6.1 Taking a Basal Temperature Measurement

For accurate basal body temperature readings, follow these steps:

  1. Take your temperature immediately after waking up, before getting out of bed, eating, or drinking.
  2. Press the measurement button to turn on the thermometer. A short beep will sound, and the display will show the last measured temperature or 'Lo'.
  3. Place the flexible tip of the thermometer under your tongue, as far back as comfortable, and close your mouth.
  4. Hold the thermometer in place until a series of beeps indicates the measurement is complete. This typically takes a few minutes.

6.2 Data Transfer and Documentation

After measurement, the data can be transferred to the app:

  1. Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is active and the Reer Mama app is open.
  2. The thermometer will automatically attempt to transfer the measurement value to the app.
  3. Verify that the temperature reading appears in the app. The app allows for documentation of measurement values and determination of fertile days.
