Step 3: Secure a rope or cable to the pump for lowering. - Ensure all connections are watertight and secure.

Step 4: Verify all connections are tight and leak-free.
5.3. Lowering the Pump
Carefully lower the pump into the well or cistern using the attached rope/cable. Ensure the pump remains vertical during the entire process. Avoid dropping the pump or allowing it to hit the sides of the well/cistern, which could cause damage.
