1. Ifihan

Thank you for choosing the Vileda Steam Mop 171980. This powerful steam mop is designed to provide a hygienic and effective cleaning solution for various sealed hard floor surfaces. By using the power of steam, it helps to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria without the need for harsh chemicals. Please read this manual carefully before first use to ensure safe and optimal operation of your appliance.

4. Eto

4.1 Ṣiṣii silẹ

  2. Locate the water tank cap, usually on the front or side of the main unit.
  3. Open the cap and fill the water tank with clean tap water. Do not overfill. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup, especially in hard water areas.

  1. Ensure the cleaning pad is securely attached and the water tank is filled.
  2. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating up.
  3. Wait approximately 15-30 seconds for the steam mop to heat up and be ready for use. The indicator light may change color or turn off when ready, refer to your specific model's indicator.

  • Begin mopping by moving the steam mop slowly and steadily across the floor surface.
  • The steam will be released as you move the mop. For stubborn stains, hold the mop over the area for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate.
  • The Vileda Steam Mop is effective at killing 99.9% of bacteria on sealed hard floors.

  • When the water tank is empty, the steam production will stop. Unplug the unit and refill the tank as per section 4.3.

6. Itọju

6.1 Cleaning the Cleaning Pad

  • The cleaning pads are machine washable. Remove the pad from the mop head after each use.
  • Wash the pad in a washing machine with similar colors, using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Ensure the pad is completely dry before reattaching or storing.

6.2 Ìyọkúrò (A gbani nímọ̀ràn)

Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the water tank and internal components, especially if using hard tap water. Regular descaling is recommended to maintain optimal performance.

  1. Unplug the steam mop and ensure it is cool.
