Sanwa RX-493i Receiver
The RX-493i is a compact 4-channel receiver compatible with the FH5 transmission system, designed for reliable communication with your MT-R FH5 transmitter.

1. Battery Installation (MT-R FH5 Transmitter)
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the transmitter.
- Slide the cover open or remove it according to the markings.
- Insert four (4) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

2. Receiver Binding (MT-R FH5 with RX-493i)
Binding is the process of linking the transmitter and receiver so they communicate exclusively with each other.

- Connect the RX-493i receiver to your RC vehicle's power source (e.g., ESC or separate receiver battery).
- Press and hold the bind button on the RX-493i receiver.
- While holding the bind button, turn on the power to the receiver. The receiver's LED should flash rapidly.

- Navigate to the binding menu on the transmitter's LCD display (refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for menu navigation).

- Turn off both the transmitter and receiver, then power them on again to confirm the binding.

- Dual Rates (D/R): Adjust the maximum steering or throttle travel.
- Curves (CURVE): Customize the response curve for steering and throttle channels.
- Fail Safe (F/S): Set predetermined positions for channels in case of signal loss.
- Reverse (REV): Change the direction of a servo's movement.
- Sub Trim (SUB-T): Make fine adjustments to the neutral position of a servo.
- Endpoint Adjustment (EPA): Set the maximum travel limits for each servo.
- ABS Brake (ALB): Simulate anti-lock braking by pulsing the brake servo.
- Offset (OFFSET): Adjust the center point of certain functions.
- Throttle Type (TH TYPE): Select different throttle response modes.
- AUX Functions (STEP AUX, POINT AUX, AUX MIX, CODE AUX): Configure auxiliary channels for additional vehicle functions (e.g., lights, gear shifting).
- Four-wheel steering (4WS): Specific settings for vehicles with 4-wheel steering.
- Motor on Axle (MOA): Settings for MOA drive systems.
- Model Selection/Copy/Clear: Manage multiple vehicle profiles.
- Timer Functions (LAP TIMER, INT TIMER, DOWN TIMER): Utilize built-in timers for racing or practice.
- Data Logger (LOGGER): Record telemetry data (if applicable).
- Alert Settings (ALERT SETTING): Configure alarms for low battery, temperature, etc.
