2.1 Carbon Monoxide Safety (COsense® Imọ ọna ẹrọ)

Your Generac GP7500E is equipped with COsense® Technology, which provides powerful protection against hazardous carbon monoxide (CO). This system automatically detects and alerts you to dangerous levels of CO, and will shut down the generator if CO levels become unsafe. Never operate the generator indoors or in partially enclosed spaces. Always operate outdoors in an open area, away from windows, doors, and vents.

  • Store fuel in approved containers in a well-ventilated area.
  • Do not refuel a hot or running engine. Allow the generator to cool before adding fuel.
  • Avoid spilling fuel. If spilled, clean it up immediately and ensure fumes dissipate before starting.

Carefully remove the generator and all components from the packaging. Assembly is minimal and straightforward. Attach the wheels and handle as per the included quick-start guide or detailed assembly instructions in the full manual (if provided separately).

  • Epo epo: Ensure the generator is off and cool. Fill the 7.9-gallon fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill.
  • Gaasi LP: Connect a standard 20lb (or larger) LP gas cylinder to the generator's LP connection hose. Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free.

  1. Ensure the generator is on a level, outdoor surface, away from any structures.
