3.2. Device Pairing (Connecting to a ZigBee Hub)
The IHSENO PIR3 Motion Sensor requires a compatible ZigBee hub (e.g., Tuya ZigBee Smart Life Hub or Tuya Bluetooth/WiFi Dual Gateway) to function. It cannot connect directly to Wi-Fi.
- Ensure your ZigBee hub is powered on and connected to your home network.
- Open the Smart Life or Tuya app on your smartphone.
- Add a new device in the app and select the motion sensor category.
- Follow the app's instructions to put the sensor into pairing mode. This usually involves pressing and holding the reset button on the sensor for a few seconds until an indicator light flashes.
- Once successfully paired, the sensor will appear in your app's device list.
3.3. Iṣagbesori Sensọ
The sensor can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall using the included 3M adhesive tape. Consider the following for optimal placement:
- Ibi idanimọ: The sensor has a maximum detection range of 5 meters and a 120-degree detection angle.
- Giga: For wall mounting, an ideal height is between 1.5 to 2 meters from the floor.
- Yago fun Awọn Idilọwọ: Ensure there are no large objects blocking the sensor's field of view.
- Awọn Okunfa Ayika: Avoid placing the sensor near heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) or in areas with strong air currents (e.g., near air conditioners, windows) as these can cause false alarms.
