The front panel of the switch features the following components:

  • 2.5G RJ45 Ports (1-24): These are the 24 primary Ethernet ports, supporting 10/100/1000Mbps and 2.5Gbps speeds.

  2. For 10G fiber optic connections, insert compatible SFP+ modules (1G/2.5G/10G) into the SFP+ ports (25-30) and connect fiber optic cables.
  3. The switch supports auto MDI/MDIX, so straight-through or crossover cables can be used interchangeably.
  4. Observe the port LEDs to confirm link status and speed.

4.4 Initial Access to Management Interface

To configure the switch, you can access its web-based management interface or Command Line Interface (CLI).

5.3.3 Link Aggregation (LACP)

Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) allows you to group multiple physical links into a single logical link. This increases bandwidth and provides redundancy, improving network resilience.
