  1. Start the chronograph at the beginning of the measured distance (e.g., a mile marker).
  2. Stop the chronograph when you reach the end of the measured distance.

4. Itọju

4.1 Omi Resistance

Your Timex Marlin watch is water-resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, showering, and fishing. It is not suitable for diving or snorkeling. Avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet to prevent water ingress.

4.2 Crystal Itọju

The watch features an acrylic crystal, which provides a classic vintage look. Acrylic crystals are more prone to minor scratches than sapphire crystals. Small scratches can often be buffed out using a specialized acrylic polish (e.g., PolyWatch) and a soft cloth. For deeper scratches or damage, professional service is recommended.

4.3 Batiri Rirọpo

The watch is powered by a lithium metal battery. When the watch stops running, it indicates the battery needs replacement. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

4.4 Alawọ Okun Itọju

The natural leather strap will develop a unique patina over time. To prolong its life, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and allow to air dry. If the strap becomes worn or damaged, it can be easily replaced using the quick-release spring bars.
