- A compatible Tuya Zigbee Hub (required for Tuya APP, Alexa, Google Home integration).
- Stable Wi-Fi network for the Zigbee Hub.
- Appropriate power supply (USB 5V or DC/AC 7V-32V) for the controller.
- Tools for wiring (screwdriver, wire strippers).
5.2 Awọn itọnisọna Wiring
The controller has two input terminals (USB 5V or DC/AC 7V-32V) and two sets of output terminals (NC, NO, COM) for each channel. The outputs are dry contacts, meaning they provide a switch closure without supplying power to the connected device. An external power source is required for the load.

Figure 5.1: Wiring diagram for connecting the controller to a linear motor. Note that the interlock mode must be set via the mode button for this application.
Connecting to a Linear Motor: For controlling a linear motor's forward and reverse motion, connect the motor's forward and reverse wires to the respective NO (Normally Open) terminals of the two channels, with a common wire connected to the COM terminal. Ensure the controller is set to interlock mode for proper operation.

Figure 5.2: Wiring diagram for connecting the controller to a lamp in self-locking mode. This shows two examples: one using NC (Normally Closed) and COM, and another using NO (Normally Open) and COM.
Connecting to a Lamp (Self-locking Mode): To control a lamp or similar on/off device, connect the lamp's power line through the COM and NO (or NC, depending on desired default state) terminals of one channel. An external AC or DC power source for the lamp o ni lati fi si.

Figure 5.3: Wiring diagram for connecting the controller to an AC motor, such as a roller blind or shutter motor. This typically involves connecting Neutral to the motor and Live through the controller's output terminals for open/close functions.
Connecting to an AC Motor: For AC motors like those found in roller blinds or shutters, connect the motor's control lines (e.g., open, close) to the controller's output terminals. Ensure the AC input for the motor is correctly wired and isolated from the controller's DC/AC input.
5.3 Ìsopọ̀ Zigbee
To connect your controller to your smart home system, follow these steps:
- Agbara Tan: Connect the controller to its power supply (USB 5V or DC/AC 7V-32V).
- Open Tuya APP: Ensure your Tuya Zigbee Hub is already set up and online in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
- Fi ẹrọ kun: In the Tuya APP, go to your Zigbee Hub and select "Add sub-device" or "Wa fun new devices."
- Tẹ Ipo Sisopọ: On the controller, press and hold the Zigbee pairing button (refer to Figure 3.1 for location) for approximately 5-8 seconds until the LED indicator starts blinking rapidly.
- Jẹrisi Isopọpọ: The app should discover the device. Follow the on-screen prompts to add and name your controller.
- Direct Connection (Samsung SmartThings / Amazon Echo):
- For Samsung SmartThings hub and Amazon Echo devices (e.g., Echo Plus, Echo Show 2nd Gen), you may be able to connect directly without a Tuya Zigbee hub.
- Initiate device discovery on your SmartThings app or by voice command to your Echo device ("Alexa, discover devices").
- Put the controller into pairing mode as described in step 4.
6. Awọn ilana Iṣiṣẹ
6.1 Awọn ipo Ṣiṣẹ
The controller supports three working modes: Self-locking, Inching (Momentary), and Interlock (Locking). These modes define how the relay outputs behave when triggered. The mode can be selected using the "Mode Switch" button on the device (refer to Figure 3.1).
- Ipo titiipa ara-ẹni: Press the button once to turn the relay ON, press again to turn it OFF. Each channel operates independently.
- Inching (Momentary) Mode: The relay turns ON when the button is pressed and automatically turns OFF after a short delay (e.g., 0.5-1 second) when the button is released. Ideal for momentary actions like garage door openers.
- Interlock (Locking) Mode: When one channel is turned ON, the other channel automatically turns OFF. This prevents both channels from being active simultaneously, useful for controlling motors with forward/reverse functions.
Note: Refer to the device's specific LED indicators or manual for precise mode selection procedures.
6.2 APP Remote Control (Tuya APP)
Once paired with your Tuya Zigbee Hub, you can control the device via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app:
- Titan/Pa Iṣakoso: Toggle the status of each channel remotely.
- Awọn iṣeto akoko: Set schedules to automatically turn devices on or off at specific times.
- Pipin ẹrọ: Share control of the device with family members through the app.
- Adaaṣe Iwoye: Create smart scenes to automate actions based on conditions (e.g., turn on lights when motion is detected).
6.3 Iṣakoso Ohun (Alexa / Ile Google)
After linking your Tuya account to Amazon Alexa or Google Home, you can use voice commands:
- Alexa: "Alexa, turn on [Device Name]", "Alexa, turn off [Device Name]".
- Ile Google: "Hey Google, turn on [Device Name]", "Hey Google, turn off [Device Name]".
Note: A Tuya Zigbee hub is required for Alexa/Google Home integration.
6.4 RF433MHz Remote Control
The controller supports pairing with RF433MHz remote controllers for local operation.

Figure 6.1: Diagram illustrating the connection for RF433MHz remote control modification. Note that the controller should be set to inching mode for typical remote button operation.
6.4.1 Pairing with RF433MHz Remote
- Press the RF433 pairing button on the device (refer to Figure 3.1) for 3 seconds.
- Wait until the blue LED indicator turns on.
- Press any button on your RF433MHz remote controller.
- The device will pair successfully, indicated by the LED.
6.4.2 Clearing RF433MHz Pairing
- Press the RF433 pairing button on the device for 8 seconds.
- Wait until the blue LED indicator turns off. This indicates that all paired RF433MHz remotes have been cleared.
