The AEGIS PSZ-60 is a 3.7 cubic feet biometric security safe designed for quick access and secure storage of valuables. It features multiple access methods including fingerprint, digital keypad, and emergency keys, along with an anti-theft alarm system and silent mode functionality.

Please adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury, damage, or unauthorized access:

  • Always keep the emergency keys in a secure location, separate from the safe itself. Never store them inside the safe.
  • Ensure batteries are installed correctly according to polarity markings.
  • Test all access methods (fingerprint, password, key) after initial setup to confirm proper functionality.
  • Mount the safe securely using the provided hardware to prevent unauthorized removal or tipping.
  • Do not attempt to force the safe open if it is jammed or malfunctioning. Refer to the troubleshooting section or contact support.
  • This safe is not water-resistant. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.

5. Eto

5.1. Initial Power-Up and Battery Installation

5.2. Setting Up Fingerprints

The safe can store up to 20 unique fingerprints. When no fingerprints are registered, any fingerprint can open the safe. Register at least one fingerprint immediately after initial setup for security.

  1. With the safe door open, press the internal reset button (usually a small button inside the battery compartment or near the lock mechanism). The indicator light will flash.
  2. Place your finger firmly on the fingerprint scanner. The light will flash green and beep once.
  3. Lift your finger and place it again on the scanner from a slightly different angle. Repeat this process 4-5 times until the light turns solid green and a long beep is heard, indicating successful registration.
  4. To register additional fingerprints, repeat steps 1-3 for each finger.
  5. To delete all registered fingerprints, press and hold the reset button for approximately 5 seconds until a long beep is heard.

5.3. Setting Up Passcode

You can set a digital passcode between 3 and 8 digits.

  1. With the safe door open, press the internal reset button. The indicator light will flash.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting. Ensure the surface is solid and can support the weight of the safe and its contents.
  2. Position the safe and mark the locations for the four pre-drilled anchor holes (two on the bottom, two on the back).

Method 1: Fingerprint Access

Method 3: Emergency Key Access

This method is used if batteries are dead, you forget your passcode, or fingerprints are not recognized.

Method 4: Emergency Power with Type-C Port

If the internal batteries are completely depleted, you can use an external Type-C power source.

  1. Connect a Type-C cable from an external power bank (not included) to the Type-C port on the safe's keypad panel.
  2. Once powered, you can use either Fingerprint Access (Method 1) or Passcode Access (Method 2) to open the safe.
  3. After opening, replace the internal batteries.

6.2. Títì Ààbò

To lock the safe, simply close the door and turn the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into place. The locking bolts will extend automatically.

The safe features a silent mode for discreet operation.

  • To activate Silent Mode: Press the '*' button on the keypad. A short beep confirms activation.
  • To deactivate Silent Mode: Press the '*' button again. A short beep confirms deactivation.

The safe is equipped with an anti-theft alarm system.

  • If an incorrect fingerprint is scanned or an incorrect passcode is entered 3 consecutive times, the alarm will activate and beep for 30 seconds.
  • To silence the alarm, use a correct fingerprint, passcode, or the emergency key to open the safe.

  3. To reinsert, align the shelf with the support brackets at the desired height and slide it into place.
