4.2 Fuel and Oil Preparation
PATAKI: The pump is shipped without engine oil or gasoline. You MUST add engine oil before the first start-up. Failure to do so will cause severe engine damage and void the warranty.
- Fi Epo Enjini kun: Locate the oil filler cap/dipstick on the engine. Fill with appropriate 4-stroke engine oil (refer to engine manual for specific type and quantity, typically SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40). Do not overfill.

4.3 Hose Connections

- Okun itujade: Connect a discharge hose (minimum 80mm / 3 inches diameter) to the pump's outlet. Secure with clamps.
- Foot Valve/Strainer: Attach the included foot valve/strainer to the end of the suction hose to prevent debris from entering the pump and to maintain prime.

4.4 Priming fifa soke
Before starting, the pump housing must be filled with water to create a vacuum for suction.
- Remove the priming cap located on top of the pump housing.
- Slowly fill the pump housing with clean water until it overflows.
- Replace and securely tighten the priming cap.

- Open the fuel valve (usually a lever below the fuel tank).
