The PGST PB-68 Door and Window Sensor is a crucial component of your PGST Home Security System, designed to detect unauthorized entry through doors and windows. This sensor operates by detecting the separation of its two main parts, triggering an alarm signal to your connected PGST alarm host and sending notifications to your smartphone. It provides real-time monitoring and enhances the security of your home or property.

Pataki: This sensor requires a PGST alarm host to function correctly and is compatible only with the PGST home security system.

  • Iwari: When the door or window to which the sensor is attached is opened, the main sensor unit and the magnetic contact separate. This separation triggers the sensor.
  • Nfa itaniji: Upon being triggered, the sensor sends a signal to your connected PGST alarm host. The alarm host will then activate its siren (if armed) and initiate any programmed actions, such as sending notifications.
  • Abojuto gidi-akoko: Through the PGST application on your smartphone, you can monitor the real-time status of your doors and windows (open or closed) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will receive alarm signals on your mobile phone within seconds of a trigger event.

Pairing with PGST Alarm System

Refer to your PGST alarm host's user manual for specific instructions on how to add new sensors to the system. Generally, this involves putting the alarm host into pairing mode and then triggering the sensor (e.g., by separating its two parts) to register it with the system. The process is typically managed through the PGST mobile application.

  2. Open the battery compartment (refer to the sensor's casing for specific opening mechanism, usually a small latch or screw).
  3. Remove the old Lithium Ion battery.
  4. Insert a new 3.7V Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  5. Close the battery compartment and re-mount the sensor.
  6. Test the sensor to ensure it is functioning correctly with the alarm system.
