The Jugbow DT-612 Dog Shock Collar is designed to assist in training dogs weighing between 10-120 lbs. It features a remote control with a range of up to 4200 feet and supports training for up to two dogs simultaneously. The system offers four distinct training modes: beep, vibration, safe shock, and shock boost, allowing for tailored correction based on your dog's needs and behavior. The receiver collar is IPX7 waterproof, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions.

To power on the receiver collar, press and hold the power button for three seconds until the red light turns on. Release the button, then long press again until the green light flashes. To power off, long press the power button until the indicator light turns off.

3.3 Channel Selection (for multiple collars)

The remote supports dual channels for training two dogs. The channel selection is factory set. Typically, a black strap receiver selects channel 1, and a green strap receiver selects channel 2. Ensure the remote is set to the corresponding channel for the collar you intend to use.

3.4 Testing the Collar

To test the collar's functions, place the provided test tool over the metal prongs. Press any of the Beep, Vibration, or Shock buttons on the remote. If you hear a "beep" for sound, feel vibration for vibration mode, or see the test light flash for shock mode, the function is working correctly.

  • Ipo Beep: Provides an audible tone (1-8 levels).
  • Ipo gbigbọn: Delivers a tactile vibration (1-16 levels).

  • Shock Boost: Provides a slightly higher static correction (10% higher than the set shock level).

Adjust the intensity levels for each mode using the dial on the remote control to suit your dog's temperament and the training situation.

5.1 Remote Range

The remote control provides a strong and stable signal up to 4200 feet, allowing for effective training in various outdoor environments such as backyards, parks, or beaches.

5.2 Collar Fit and Sizing

The collar is made of skin-friendly, comfortable soft nylon with a two-way adjustable strap. It is suitable for dogs weighing over 10 lbs with neck sizes ranging from 7.8 to 24.4 inches, accommodating small, medium, and large breeds. Ensure a snug but comfortable fit to ensure proper contact of the prongs with the dog's skin.

5.4 Important Note on Wear Time

The collar should not be worn continuously for more than 12 hours without removing the metal prongs to prevent skin irritation.

Wipe the collar with a damp cloth as needed. The receiver collar is waterproof and can be rinsed under water. Do not use harsh chemicals or submerge the remote control in water.

6.3 Waterproofing

The receiver collar boasts an IPX7 waterproof rating, making it suitable for use in all weather conditions, including splashes, rain, bathing, and swimming. The remote control is not waterproof.

  • Inconsistent Correction: Adjust the collar's fit to ensure consistent contact. Clean the contact points on the collar and your dog's neck.
  • Idinku Idinku: Ensure there are no significant obstructions between the remote and the collar. Low battery levels can also affect range.
  • Muu ṣiṣẹ lairotẹlẹ: Utilize the security ON/OFF switch on the remote to prevent unintended corrections.
