Proper setup and installation are crucial for optimal performance and safety. Please follow these guidelines:

3.1 Initial Activation & Charging:

For first-time use or after a shutdown, the battery may be in a powered-off state. To activate, charge the battery for 3-10 seconds using a LiFePO4 charger or an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controller with a lithium activation function.

3.2 Terminal Connection:

  • Use the provided M8- 5/8" terminal bolts and insulating caps.
  • Ensure connections are tight to prevent loosening and overheating.
  • If OT terminals are attached directly with screws and their thickness is less than 2mm, add gaskets for lock attachment to prevent loosening and overheating.

3.3 Parallel/Series Connection:

This Redodo lithium battery supports expansion. When connecting multiple batteries, ensure they are of the same brand, type, voltage, amps, BMS, and age (within 1 month). The battery supports expansion up to 48V 560Ah.

3.4 Important Considerations:

  • This battery is ko dara for starter batteries or golf carts.

4.1 Bluetooth App Monitoring:

Download the dedicated Bluetooth app from the App Store or Google Play. Once installed, connect to your battery via Bluetooth (within 10m range) to access real-time monitoring data and remote control functions.

5. Safety & Protection

The Redodo Smart Bluetooth 12V 140Ah LiFePO4 Battery is equipped with an advanced 150A Battery Management System (BMS) to ensure safe and reliable operation. The BMS provides multiple layers of protection:

  • Low Temperature Cut-Off: Automatically stops charging below 32°F (0°C) and stops discharging below -4°F (-20°C) to protect the battery in cold environments. Charging recovery begins above 41°F (5°C).
