Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply is disconnected at the circuit breaker. This fan is designed for ceiling installation and requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for smart features.
4.1 Ceiling Opening Dimensions
The fan housing measures 12.87" x 10.59" x 7.91". The light cover size is 13.1" x 13.1". The recommended ceiling opening is 11.39" x 10.42" x 9" square. Use the provided drywall cutout template for accurate sizing.

If the hole is too small, trace the housing onto the ceiling and then cut the ceiling with a keyhole saw. If the hole is too big, you'll need to patch the ceiling. The patched areas can be repaired with spackling compound later.
4.2 Preparing the Fan Unit
- Remove Duct Connector and Wire Cover: Carefully remove the duct connector and the wire cover from the fan housing. This provides access for wiring and duct connection.
- Place the Fan Housing: Insert the fan housing into the prepared ceiling opening.
- Install the Flex Bracket: Secure the fan housing using the Flex Bracket. This bracket allows for easy installation and secure mounting to ceiling joists.

- Secure Fan Housing: Pull the 4 tabs of the fan housing into the vertical position and align them with the slot on the telescopic support. Bend the tabs to the sides and secure the fan housing firmly to the telescopic support.
- Connect LED Wire: Connect the LED wire to the corresponding plug in the fan housing.

To connect with Alexa: Press and hold the "RGB" and "Fan" buttons on the remote for 5 seconds to prepare for network pairing. Open the Alexa app, click '+' to add a device, scroll to find other options, and choose the 'matter' logo. Follow prompts to confirm the device has a Matter logo and is powered on. Scan the Matter QR code to pair. The fan light will flash once with 2700K light when successfully paired.

Control all settings via the included remote control or the AiDot app. The default setting is Light ON / Fan OFF. Use the remote to turn on the fan.
