Proper installation is crucial for your child's safety. Always refer to your vehicle's owner's manual and the car seat manual for complete instructions.

2.1 Preparing the Car Seat

  • For forward-facing use, remove the plush infant head and body supports. These are for rear-facing use only.
  • Ensure the car seat is rotated to the rear-facing position before beginning installation. Slide and hold the blue trigger, then pull out the gray lever and rotate the seat until the turn-lock indicator is green.
  • Store the lower anchor connectors in the designated compartment in the seat base if using the vehicle seat belt for installation.
  • Unhook the tether strap from its storage and lay it over the anti-rebound panel. It will be attached later.

2.2 Rear-Facing Installation (4-40 lb)

Place the car seat rear-facing in your vehicle. Ensure the base is flat on the vehicle seat, with at least 80% of the base on the seat.

  • Adjust the recline to one of the rear-facing positions (1-4) using the recline handle on the front of the base. The level indicator on the side of the base should be within the blue zone.
  • Open the SnugLock lock-off by pulling the gray lever.
  • Route the vehicle lap and shoulder belt through the designated belt path, ensuring it is flat and untwisted. Buckle the seat belt.
  • Remove slack from the vehicle seat belt by pulling on the shoulder belt while feeding the slack back into the retractor.
  • Close the SnugLock lock-off firmly until you hear a click.
  • Test for tightness: The car seat should not move more than 1 inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.

2.3 Forward-Facing Installation (26.5-65 lb)

Place the car seat forward-facing in your vehicle. Ensure the base is flat on the vehicle seat, with at least 80% of the base on the seat.

  • Adjust the recline to one of the forward-facing positions (1-4) using the recline handle on the front of the base. The level indicator on the side of the base should be within the red zone.
  • Open the SnugLock lock-off by pulling the gray lever.
  • Route the vehicle lap and shoulder belt through the designated belt path, ensuring it is flat and untwisted. Buckle the seat belt.
  • Remove slack from the vehicle seat belt by pulling on the shoulder belt while feeding the slack back into the retractor.
  • Close the SnugLock lock-off firmly until you hear a click.
  • Attach the tether strap to the vehicle's top tether anchor and tighten to remove all slack.
  • Test for tightness: The car seat should not move more than 1 inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.

The EasyTurn 360 allows you to rotate the car seat for effortless loading and unloading of your child.

  • To rotate, slide and hold the blue trigger located on the side of the base.
  • While holding the trigger, pull out the gray lever and turn the car seat towards the vehicle door.
  • Place your child in the seat and secure the harness.
  • Rotate the seat back to its rear-facing or forward-facing position until you hear a distinct "click." The turn-lock indicator on the side of the base should be green, confirming it is securely locked for travel.

3.2 Ṣíṣe àtúnṣe ìdènà

The No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System allows you to adjust the harness and headrest height simultaneously.

  • To adjust the harness height, squeeze the handle at the top of the headrest and slide it up or down to the appropriate position. The harness straps should be at or just below your child's shoulders for rear-facing, and at or just above for forward-facing.
  • To loosen the harness, press the harness release button located at the front of the seat and pull the shoulder straps forward.
