The Safe-Accu2 meter uses 2*AAA Alkaline batteries. Open the battery compartment on the back of the device and insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators. Close the compartment securely.

Upon first use or after battery replacement, you may need to set the date and time. Refer to the "Power Button" functions in the product overview diagram. Typically, pressing and holding the power button allows entry into the time setting program. Use the arrow buttons to adjust values and the power button to confirm.

    • Unscrew the cap of the lancing device.
    • Insert a new, sterile lancet firmly into the lancet holder.
    • Twist off the protective cap from the lancet.
    • Replace the lancing device cap.
    • Adjust the penetration depth by rotating the cap (settings 1-9, 3 is often suitable for average skin).
    • Pull back the cocking barrel until it clicks, indicating it's ready to use.

  2. Insert a Test Strip:

    Insert a sinocare Accu-2 test strip into the meter's test strip port. The meter will automatically turn on and display a blood drop symbol, indicating it's ready for a blood sample. The meter does not require manual coding.

  3. Gba Ẹjẹ Sample:

    Place the lancing device firmly against the side of your fingertip and press the release button. A small drop of blood will form. Gently squeeze your finger if necessary to obtain a sufficient sample (0.6 µL).

  4. Apply Blood to the Test Strip:

    Touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The blood will be drawn into the strip automatically. Do not apply blood to the top of the strip. The meter will beep and begin counting down.

  5. Read the Result:

    After approximately 10 seconds, your blood glucose result will appear on the display. The meter will also show a red or green light indicator:

  6. Dispose of Used Materials:

    Eject the used test strip from the meter using the strip ejection button. Carefully remove the used lancet from the lancing device and dispose of both safely in a sharps container or according to local regulations.

Important Notice for Accurate Results:

  • The operation of measuring blood sugar is best completed within 3 minutes.
  • After the test strip bottle is opened, the test strips inside need to be used up within 6 months.
