This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Nintendo Switch console. Please read this manual thoroughly before using your console to ensure proper usage and to prevent damage.

The Nintendo Switch is a versatile home video game console that can be played in three modes: TV mode, tabletop mode, and handheld mode. It features a 6.2-inch display and comes with detachable Joy-Con controllers.

3. Eto

3.1 Initial Console Setup

  1. Attach Joy-Cons: Slide the Joy-Con (L) onto the left side of the console and the Joy-Con (R) onto the right side until you hear a click.
  2. Agbara Tan: Press the POWER Button located on the top-left of the console.

3.2 TV Mode Setup

  1. Sopọ Adapter AC: Open the back cover of the Nintendo Switch Dock. Connect the AC adapter to the top port labeled "AC ADAPTER" and plug it into a wall outlet.

3.3 Charging the Console and Joy-Cons

  • Console: Connect the AC adapter directly to the USB-C port on the bottom of the console, or place the console in the Nintendo Switch Dock while the dock is connected to the AC adapter.
  • Joy-Cons: Joy-Cons charge automatically when attached to the console while the console itself is charging. They can also be charged using a Joy-Con Charging Grip (sold separately).

4. Operating the Nintendo Switch

  • Ipo TV: Play on your television by placing the console in the Nintendo Switch Dock. Use Joy-Cons detached or in the Joy-Con Grip.
  • Ipo Amusowo: Play on the console's built-in screen with Joy-Cons attached. Ideal for portable gaming.
  • Ipo Tabili: Detach the Joy-Cons and use the console's kickstand to prop it up on a flat surface. This allows for multiplayer gaming using the console's screen.

4.2 Using Joy-Con Controllers

  • Asomọ: Slide Joy-Cons onto the console or Joy-Con Grip until they click.

  • Check that the TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
  • Try restarting the console and the TV.
Joy-Cons not responding or disconnecting.
  • Ensure Joy-Cons are charged.
  • Re-attach Joy-Cons to the console or re-sync them wirelessly via the HOME Menu > Controllers > Change Grip/Order.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the Joy-Cons and the console.
Console is frozen or unresponsive.Hold down the POWER Button for at least 12 seconds to force a shutdown. Then, press the POWER Button again to restart.
