4. Eto ati Apejọ

The KIMO 8-Inch Cordless Mini Chainsaw is designed for quick and tool-free assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your chainsaw for use.

4.1 Gbigba agbara batiri

  1. Connect the fast charger to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show its status.
  2. Insert the 4.0Ah battery into the charger. The indicator light will turn red, signifying charging is in progress.
  3. Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green. Disconnect the battery from the charger.

4.2 Chain and Guide Bar Installation

  1. Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before assembly.
  2. Unscrew the chain replacement knob counter-clockwise to loosen the cover and remove it.
  3. Carefully place the saw chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (away from the motor).
  4. Fit the guide bar and chain onto the chainsaw body, aligning the chain with the drive sprocket.
  5. Replace the cover and tighten the chain replacement knob clockwise until the chain is snug but can still be moved by hand.

Video 4.1: This video demonstrates the tool-free chain tensioning and replacement process for a KIMO Mini Chainsaw. While the video may show a different bar length, the assembly steps are generally applicable to the 8-inch model.

4.3 Àgbáye Ojò epo

  1. Wa ideri ojò epo lori ara chainsaw naa.
  2. Open the cap and use a funnel to pour appropriate chain oil into the tank. The tank capacity is 32ml.
  3. Close the cap securely. The automatic oiling system will lubricate the chain during operation.

Before operating, ensure all safety checks are complete and you are wearing appropriate PPE.

  1. Insert a fully charged battery into the chainsaw until it clicks into place.

6. Itọju

6.1 Chain Care

  • Pipọn: The 8660 alloy steel chain is designed for durability. Sharpen the chain regularly with a suitable file to maintain cutting efficiency.
