The L508 offers 7 distinct light modes to suit various riding conditions and preferences:
- Ipo ri to: For short commuter rides at night on open roads.
- Ipo didan: For long-distance training or leisure rides at night on open roads, offering longer battery life.
- Ipo Pulse: Similar to flashing mode, for extended battery life during night rides.
- Peloton Mode: Designed for night group training on roads closed for cycling. Provides soft light that isn't dazzling, enhancing comfort during group rides.
- Quickly Flash Mode: An additional flashing option.
- Ipo Yiyi: A dynamic light pattern.
- Only Radar Mode: For daytime riding on open roads, where only the radar function is active.

Smart Brake Sensing
The tail light incorporates a high-precision acceleration sensor. Upon detecting slight braking, it automatically enters a 3-second highlight mode to alert vehicles behind you. This feature intelligently ignores minor shakes and bumps to prevent false activations. The smart brake light function can be turned off if desired.

Rear Traffic Warning
The L508 provides visual and audible alerts when vehicles approach from behind, up to 140 meters away. If a rear vehicle approaches, the warning light will flash 5 times. If vehicles approach successively, the warning light remains flashing, helping to maintain a safe distance. Note: If the warning light is turned off, it will still flash 5 times when the radar detects a rear vehicle for safety, but will not continue flashing for successive vehicles.

Auto-Sleep/Auto-Wake
The tail light features vibration sensing, allowing it to automatically enter sleep mode after a period of being stationary and wake up when motion is detected. The stationary period for auto-sleep can be configured from 1 to 10 minutes via the Magene Utility APP. This function is turned off by factory default and needs to be manually enabled in the app.

Ipo fifipamọ agbara
A power-saving mode is available to lower the light brightness, conserving battery life. The light brightness will automatically return to normal if the radar detects a rear vehicle approaching.
Customized Light Settings (via Magene Utility APP)
Through the Magene Utility APP, you can customize various aspects of the tail light's operation:
- Adjust the brightness of each light mode.
- Set the interval period for flash and pulse modes.
- Deactivate unwanted light modes directly from the app.
- Combine radar functionality with specific light modes (e.g., radar on in solid mode, radar off in flashing mode) to suit different scenarios.
