The Huawei Tag Anti-Lost Elf is a compact and lightweight positioning device designed to help you keep track of your valuable items, pets, children, or elderly family members. Utilizing Huawei's extensive 'search' network, it offers both long-distance and close-range tracking capabilities, along with timely reminders to prevent loss.

2.1. Ibamu

The Huawei Tag is compatible with a range of Huawei mobile phones and tablets. Currently, it supports devices sold in mainland China that are upgraded to Hongmeng 2.0.0.230 or 2.0.1. Please ensure your device meets these requirements for optimal functionality.

The Huawei Tag utilizes Bluetooth technology for service communication and NFC for touch pairing. Follow these steps to pair your Huawei Tag with your compatible smartphone:

  1. Ensure Bluetooth and NFC are enabled on your Huawei smartphone.
  2. Bring the Huawei Tag close to your phone. A pop-up window should appear for connection.
  3. Alternatively, place the Huawei Tag on the NFC area on the back of your phone to initiate pairing.
  4. Once connected successfully, open the 'Find Device' application on your phone.
  5. You will then be able to see the location of your item within the application.

The Huawei Tag uses a replaceable CR2032 button battery. To install or replace the battery:

  1. Gently twist the two halves of the Huawei Tag lati ṣii.

3.1. Finding Lost Items

The Huawei Tag offers multiple ways to locate your items:

  • Remote Positioning: Through the Huawei 'search' network, consisting of billions of Huawei devices, you can grasp the location information of your Huawei Tag, whether your bound items are left in shopping malls or vacation areas.
  • Close-Range Search: When the Huawei Tag is nearby, open the 'Find Device' app and click "Play Ringtone." The Tag will emit a dedicated ringtone to help you identify its location by following the sound.

3.2. Quick Forgotten Reminder

To prevent important items from being forgotten, activate the 'quick forgotten reminder' mode in the app. If an item leaves your body while in this mode, your phone will receive an immediate reminder to help you locate it quickly and avoid losing it.

Huawei Tag location information is transmitted using two-way anonymous encryption. Only you can know where your Huawei Tag is currently located. If a strange Huawei Tag that has left its owner follows you for a period, the system will send you a safety notification and play a ringtone to guide you to find it.

4. Itọju

The Huawei Tag is powered by a CR2032 button battery, which can last for more than one year. When the battery is low, replace it by gently twisting the Tag open, removing the old battery, and inserting a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Close the Tag ni aabo.

The Huawei Tag supports IP67 dust and water resistance. This means it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
