1. Initial Unlocking and Battery Installation

  1. Locate the master key and emergency key from the package.
  2. Insert the master key into the master keyhole and the emergency key into the emergency keyhole (refer to Figure 6 for keyhole locations).
  3. Turn both keys to unlock the safe door.
  4. Open the safe door and locate the battery compartment, typically on the inside of the door.
  5. Install the required batteries (not specified in data, assume standard AA/AAA) into the compartment. The LCD screen will power on.
  6. Close the safe door and remove the keys.

For maximum security, it is highly recommended to securely mount the safe to a floor or wall.

  1. Identify a suitable location for the safe, ensuring it is level and stable.
  2. The safe features 6 pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom.

After installing batteries and opening the safe for the first time, you will need to set your personal password.

  1. With the safe door open, press the internal reset button (location typically on the inside of the door, near the hinge or battery compartment). The LCD screen should indicate it's ready for password input.
  2. Enter your desired password (usually 3-8 digits, consult the physical manual for exact range) using the keypad.
  3. Confirm the password by pressing the '#' key. The screen should display a confirmation message.
  4. To change the password, repeat steps 1-3.

The Kavey K3-75 offers three methods to unlock the safe:

  • Method 1: Password Only (Quick Opening)
    1. Enter your set password on the keypad.

3. Hidden Password Function

To prevent others from seeing your password as you enter it, the safe features a hidden password function:

  • Before entering your password, press the '*' key on the keypad.
  • Proceed to enter your password. The digits will not be displayed on the LCD screen, enhancing privacy.
  • Press '#' to confirm and unlock.

4. Eto Itaniji Meji

The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system to deter unauthorized access:

  • Itaniji Ọrọigbaniwọle ti ko tọ: If three consecutive incorrect passwords are entered, the alarm will activate for 60 seconds.
  • Itaniji gbigbọn: If the safe experiences severe vibration or attempted forced entry, the alarm will activate for 60 seconds.

5. Using the Deposit Slot

The top compartment features a deposit slot, allowing you to quickly insert items like cash or envelopes without fully opening the safe.

  • Locate the deposit slot on the top surface of the safe.
  • Insert items into the slot. They will drop into the upper compartment of the safe.

The LCD screen displays battery consumption. Replace batteries promptly when the low battery warning appears to ensure continuous functionality.

  1. Open the safe using your password or the master key + emergency key method.
