The BHT-009 Matter thermostat supports direct connection via app scan to Matter-compatible smart home ecosystems, eliminating the need for a separate gateway.

  • For Amazon Alexa and Google Home: Once paired with the Smart Life app, enable the "Smart Life" skill/service in your Alexa or Google Home app and link your accounts. The thermostat should then appear as a controllable device.
  • For Apple HomeKit: The thermostat directly integrates with Apple HomeKit.
    • Scan the HomeKit setup code (usually found on the device or packaging) using the Apple Home app.
