4.1 Connecting the Mini Dock to Mac Mini

  1. Place your Mac Mini securely into the ORICO Mini Dock's stand. The silicone pads will ensure a snug and stable fit.
  2. Connect the provided C-to-C data cable from the 'PC IN' USB-C port on the Mini Dock to a Thunderbolt/USB-C port on your Mac Mini.
  3. The Mini Dock is plug-and-play. Your Mac Mini should automatically recognize the connected peripherals and expanded storage (if an SSD is installed).

4.2 M.2 SSD Installation (for VS10-1 'No SSD' model)

If you have purchased the 'MiniDock NO SSD' (VS10-1) model and wish to add your own M.2 SSD:

  1. Gently slide open the M.2 SSD enclosure compartment located at the bottom of the Mini Dock.
  2. Insert your M.2 (NGFF or NVME) SSD into the slot, ensuring it is properly aligned.
  3. Secure the SSD with the provided screw or clip, if applicable.
  4. Close the enclosure compartment.
  5. The SSD should now be accessible through your Mac Mini. You may need to format the SSD if it's new.
