  • Manual spot welding key: Button to manually trigger a weld.

6.2. Adjusting Welding Parameters

The AWITHZ U3 offers fine-tuning capabilities with 'Six Cores' parameters:

  1. Preheat (1-10ms): Adjust the preheating time for optimal welding.
  2. Intermission (1-20ms): Set the pause time between welding pulses.
  3. Gear Position (1.0-9.0, 80 gears): Fine-tune the welding power level.
  4. Trigger Time (0.5-5.0s): Configure the automatic trigger delay.
  5. Welding Method (Manual/Automatic): Select between manual or automatic welding modes.
  6. Connect Points (1-3): Choose the number of welding pulses per trigger.

Use the Adjustment keys to navigate through the parameters on the display and modify their values. Refer to the display screen (Figure 6.3) for current settings.

6.3. Performing a Spot Weld

  1. Ensure the welding pen is securely connected and the device is powered on.
  2. Select the appropriate welding parameters (Preheat, Intermission, Gear Position, Trigger Time, Welding Method, Connect Points) based on the material and thickness you are welding. Start with lower settings and gradually increase if needed.
  3. Place the materials to be welded between the tips of the intelligent welding pen.
  4. If in Manual mode, press the Manual spot welding key on the main unit or the button on the intelligent pen to trigger the weld. If in Automatic mode, the weld will trigger automatically after the set Trigger Time when the pen tips make contact with the material.
  5. Observe the weld quality and adjust parameters as necessary.

The AWITHZ U3 can also function as a power bank to charge other USB devices.

  1. Locate the USB output port on the device.
  2. Connect your USB device (e.g., mobile phone) to this port using a compatible USB cable.
  3. The device will begin charging your external device with an output of 5V/2.4A (max.).
