6. Laasigbotitusita (FAQ)

Q: Why does the connection keep interrupting after inserting the M.2 SSD?
A: When using a high-power device, to avoid the input interface power being too low, please ensure a PD charger is connected to the docking station's PD100W port for stable connection.
Q: Do both Type-C ports support 10Gbps transmission?
A: The PD100W power supply interface does not support data transfer; it is solely for laptop charging. The other USB3.2-C port supports 10Gbps data transfer.
Q: Why is the speed not as fast as advertised?
A: The operating speed is determined by your notebook, the M.2 SSD type, and the USB port type. For the fastest read and write speeds, an NVMe SSD should be used, and the external enclosure should be connected to a USB 3.1 GEN2 10G port on your host device.
Q: Why does it generate heat?
A: SSDs generate heat when reading and writing at high speeds. The aluminum case and cooling features of this product are designed to effectively transfer and release this heat, which is normal during operation.
