5. Eto

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the tachometer.

  1. Clean the surface of the rotating object where the measurement will be taken.
  2. Affix one of the provided reflective strips to the clean surface. Ensure the strip is flat and securely attached.
  3. The reflective strip should be positioned so that the tachometer's laser can easily target it during rotation.

6.2 Non-Contact Measurement (Photoelectric Type)

  1. Ensure a reflective strip is properly affixed to the rotating object.
  2. Turn on the tachometer.
  3. Point the laser emitter (located at the top of the device) towards the reflective strip on the rotating object.
  4. Maintain a measuring effective distance of approximately 50-500mm (2-19.7 inches) from the target.

6.3 Contacting Measurement (Not applicable for TA506A)

Note: While the product description mentions 'Contacting or Non Contacting Measurement', the TA506A model is a photoelectric type and does not appear to include physical contact accessories. Therefore, only non-contact measurement is supported by this specific model.
