This Set-Top Box (STB) has been manufactured to satisfy international safety standards. Please read the following safety precautions carefully.

- ILE: The LNB cable MUST BE EARTHED to the system earth for the satellite dish. Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. DO NOT OPEN.
For terminals marked with the symbol of a lightning bolt, the external wiring connected to these terminals may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock. Installation should be performed by an instructed person or using ready-made leads/cords.
This equipment is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance and does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.
The lightning flash symbol within an equilateral triangle alerts the user to non-insulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may cause electric shock.

Follow the diagrams below for connecting your GTMEDIA V7 S2X receiver to your television and satellite antenna.

There are two primary ways to connect your receiver to your TV:
- AV Connection (Red/White/Yellow cables):
- Connect the AV cable (red, white, yellow) from the receiver's AV output interface to your TV's AV input interface.
- Ensure cables are connected color-to-color (Red to Red, White to White, Yellow to Yellow).
- Set your TV to the AV input mode.
- HD OUT Connection (HDMI cable):
- Connect an HD cable from the receiver's HD OUT port to an available HDMI input on your TV.
- Set your TV to the corresponding HD input mode (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).
Connecting to Satellite Dish
Connect the LNB cable from your satellite dish to the "LNB IN" port on the back of the GTMEDIA V7 S2X receiver. Ensure the STB is disconnected from the mains before making this connection.

USB WiFi Connection
Insert the provided USB WiFi adapter into one of the USB 2.0 Host ports on the receiver to enable wireless network connectivity.

The remote control allows you to power on/off the receiver, navigate menus, and access various functions. The image below shows the remote control layout and key functions.

- WA: Prompts to find channels sorted by character.

Remote Control Learning Function (Control TV)
The remote control has a learning function to control your TV. Follow these steps:
- Ensure the two emitters (of the GTMEDIA remote and your TV remote) are aligned and kept 1-3cm apart.
- Press the "/SET" button on the GTMEDIA remote for 5 seconds until the indicator changes from blinking to a long light, entering the learning state.
- Press the button you want to learn on the GTMEDIA remote. The indicator will blink slowly, entering the learning receiving state.
- Press the corresponding button on your TV remote for approximately 1 second and release. After learning, the indicator will change from blinking to a long light. Repeat steps 3-4 for other buttons.
- To finish learning, press any other key on the GTMEDIA remote to save automatically and exit the learning state. The indicator will turn off.

To upgrade the receiver's firmware via USB:
- Prepare a USB flash drive with the correct upgrade file (e.g., MP_GTmeida V7.bin) in its root directory.
- Insert the USB flash drive into the receiver's USB port.
- Navigate to "USB Upgrade" in the menu.
- Select "Upgrade By USB".
- Choose "Upgrade Mode: All Code" to update the entire firmware, or "Main Code" for system main functions, or "User DB" for user database.
- Ensure the "Upgrade File" displayed matches your file. Warning: Choosing the wrong software can cause the machine to not work properly.
- Press the OK button on "Start" to begin receiving data from the USB device.
- The system will automatically run to upgrade the program and restart after completion.
Important: Do not power off the device during the upgrade process. Do not upgrade with software from other companies to avoid system damage.

To back up the receiver's firmware or user database to a USB disk:
- Insert a USB flash drive into the receiver's USB port.
- Navigate to "USB Backup" in the menu.
- Select "Backup Mode: All Code" to back up the entire firmware, or "User DB" to back up the user database.
- Press the OK button on "Start" to begin sending data to the USB device.
- A success prompt will appear upon completion.
Note: If the USB device is not connected, these options will be greyed out and cannot be edited.
